I. Program Overview

As China's top comprehensive research university, Peking University opens its international undergraduate admission channel (no written exam) to outstanding students worldwide. No need to take PKU's internal entrance exam. Apply with international standardized test scores, language proficiency, and comprehensive application materials. After initial review and university interview, you can be admitted. This is a high-quality pathway for international students to realize their dream of studying at PKU.

For the 2026 fall intake, the no-exam program is divided into two batches. The second batch—the final round this year—is currently open and closing soon.

Important Reminders

  • Each applicant can only apply for one batch. Simultaneous applications for both batches are not allowed.
  • You cannot apply for both the no-exam and exam-based programs in the same year. Duplicate applications will be disqualified.
  • After submitting the online application, you must pay the application fee on time. Incomplete payment means no initial review.
  • All paper documents must be scanned into clear electronic versions and uploaded to the PKU international student application system before the deadline. Late submissions will not be accepted.

III. Basic Eligibility

Nationality

Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens holding a valid ordinary foreign passport. If you were born with foreign nationality and one or both parents were originally Chinese, additional proof of overseas residence is required.

Age

Generally 18–25 years old (born between September 1, 2001, and September 1, 2008).

Education

Must have completed full-time regular high school education, with official high school diploma and complete transcripts, properly notarized and authenticated.


IV. Standardized Test Requirements

Chinese Proficiency

  2. Notarized and authenticated high school diploma
  3. Official transcripts for all three years of high school (Chinese/English, stamped)
  4. International standardized test scores (SAT/IB/A-Level/ACT, choose one)
  5. HSK Level 6 score report (exempt if eligible)
  6. CSCA official valid score report
  7. Two recommendation letters (with recommender's position, contact, and handwritten signature)
  8. Personal statement (PS): covering academic experience, motivation, and career plans
